Where This Story Began
Lightbringers Press grew out of a very real, very imperfect homeschool life. The kind filled with cross-country moves, military deployments, caring for aging parents, and learning how to teach multiple ages at the same table through all of it. I’m a homeschooling mom of multi-age learners, and along the way I kept meeting parents who were exhausted, afraid of getting it wrong, and searching for something that felt gentler, more immersive and more doable.
What started as conversations on the couch turned into A Gentle Start to Homeschooling, a way to say, “You’re not alone,” and to help families build a vision and rhythm that actually fits their life. Over the years, I’ve spent time teaching in private schools, church classrooms, and homeschool co-ops, and began writing curriculum for ages 6 through 18 to bring that same clarity and connection into everyday learning. The Hearthlight curriculum is simply the next step in that same heartbeat.
It’s everything we’ve learned through the hard and the holy years, shaped into a story-rich, multi-age program that brings learning to life while still giving teens real high school credit and space to grow in faith.

Lightbringers Press grew out of a very real and imperfect homeschool life. It began with one mom learning how to teach multi age kids while navigating cross country moves, military deployments, caring for aging parents, mental and physical health challenges, and the everyday realities of a neurodivergent family.
Along the way, we tried public school, private school, and co-ops before eventually finding our place at the kitchen table. In that process, I kept meeting parents who felt exhausted, afraid of getting it wrong, and in need of something gentler and more doable than a picture perfect system.
A Gentle Start to Homeschooling was written as a simple, honest conversation for those families. It was meant to walk through vision, rhythms, and faith in a way that actually fits inside a lived in home and a real schedule.
Lightbringers Press and the Hearthlight curriculum are a continuation of that same journey.
They take what was learned through hard and meaningful seasons and turn it into a story rich, fantasy inspired, multi age program that makes learning engaging and meaningful, while still helping students earn real high school credit and grow in their faith.
Our Mission & Vision

Our Mission
Our mission is to come alongside new and weary homeschool parents with story rich, faith rooted resources that make learning together joyful, meaningful, and academically solid.

Our Vision
We envision a generation of youth who are rooted in Christ, deeply connected to their families, and growing into confident and curious learners shaped by rich stories, real life skills, and a homeschool life that feels peaceful and purposeful.
So in simple terms, we believe in homeschools where faith, family, and imagination grow together. Learning shapes more than just transcripts.
